Around the globe, they’re on the move
as if they’re marching in one groove
– as if they’ve found a way to prove
that placards are the cure.
But planting placards ain’t the cure.
They won’t grow leaves back, that’s for sure.
They’ll just turn into strange manure

(Friday Sept. 20th – Schoolchildren around the globe, in their millions, go on strike and take a day off school to march in support of action to stop Climate Change. Inspired by 16yr old Swedish student, Greta Thunberg, their show of force was orchestrated to coincide with the UN Summit on Climate Action held in New York City.)
